About our Pedicure and Manicure Service

We provide you with an indulgent nail care while maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sterilization available.

We take sanitation very seriously beyond what the State of Florida requires for nails.

Taking extra measures is more costly way to provide nail treatments than you are going to find at regular nail salons. Here at Beauty and Wellness Studio we provide our costumers sterilization procedures where your safety always come first and that is more important to us than saving a few dollars. And we believe it is for you too!

For every Pedicure at Beauty and Wellness Studio, we use disposable liners that are thrown away after every service. Disposable liners prevent the spread of bacteria, fungus and other infectious diseases. This is the most sanitary way for you to enjoy a safe, clean Pedicure.

At Beauty and Wellness Studio we do not believe in nor use !Spa Chairs! due to their dangerous and alarming background of causing boils, skin irritations and infections. Spa Chairs and whirlpool type are known to be a breeding ground for Microbacterium Fortuitum bacteria that cause boils and scarring on the legs.

In October 2000,The Center for Disease Control investigated the first known outbreak of Mycobacterium fortuitum cutaneos infections acquired from whirlpool foot baths, also called foot spas, at a nail salon in northern California. Over 100 pedicure customers had prolonged boils on the lower legs that left scars when healed. In the investigation the area behind the screen of the recirculation inlet was swabbed in each of 10 footspas at the nail salon and recovered strains of M. fortuitum from all 10.
